From 19 to 21 April 2023 the third meeting of a dialogue between the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity (DPCU) and the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) took place in Paris. Under the leadership of Bishop Dr Bertram Meier (Augsburg) and CPCE President Dr John Bradbury (London), a commission of experts of the Catholic Church and of the Communion of the Protestant Churches in Europe are discussing the understanding of the church and church communion. The aim of the dialogue, agreed between CPCE and the DPCU in autumn 2018, is a common word on the unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity of the church.
The fourth meeting will take place in Augsburg in November 2023.

Fortsetzung des Dialogs zwischen der Katholischen Kirche und der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa
Vom 19. bis 21. April 2023 fand in Paris die dritte Sitzung eines Dialogs zwischen dem vatikanischen Dikasterium zur Förderung der Einheit der Christen (DPCU) und der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa (GEKE) statt. Eine Expertenkommission der katholischen Kirche und der Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Kirchen in Europa diskutiert unter der Leitung von Bischof Dr. Bertram Meier (Augsburg) und GEKE-Präsident Dr. John Bradbury (London) das Verständnis von Kirche und Kirchengemeinschaft. Ziel des im Herbst 2018 zwischen der GEKE und dem DPCU vereinbarten Dialogs ist ein gemeinsames Wort zur Einheit, Heiligkeit, Katholizität und Apostolizität der Kirche.
Die vierte Sitzung wird im November 2023 in Augsburg stattfinden.
